Finally, one project is crossed off my to-do list. I made these place mats and hot pads (they are reversible!) as a wedding gift for my best friends brother. (The couple are budding chefs and I thought what better than cute things for the kitchen!) These quick projects, plus an oven mitt are going to be featured in sewing class based on projects for the kitchen that I am teaching this fall. I really love how these turned out and almost didn't want to give them away ;)!
