Got a project done today...

Here is a little peak at the tutorial I am hoping to get on the blog tomorrow...

inspired by this color palette (i added a sage in at the last second)

-I have also been working on the illustrations for the blog for the month of February. I am hoping to turn the illustrations from the banners and backgrounds into a 2011 calendar.
-I have also plotted out a couple of valentine's projects that I will be sharing in the next week or so
-I am working on the final details for a women's top tutorial for next week

I would love to know what are you working on?

I hope you are enjoying all of the projects; there are still 4 more coming and they make some great last minute gifts for you or some lucky recipient!

In other fun holiday stuff: I am working on one of my holiday goals- those fancy iced sugar cookies. I am determined, so the mission begins today. Don't worry, I will take plenty of photos to share with you.

Project #4- Xavier's Holiday Lounge Pants

These are not just for boys, but for girls, too. Xavier loves them and I think that they look really comfy. The pants are a wide leg and super fast to put together. These are not intended for sleepwear, just to lounge around the house in.

As a side note: if you notice anything that needs to be corrected with the patterns or any suggestions leave me a comment or email me at kzjostudio@yahoo.com I want to be able to provide awesome tutorials and in the future patterns your input would be awesome.

Okay, I love Top Chef and I am so excited that Michael won. He was my pick to win and my favorite from the season! I am going to try and post another tutorial tonight, wish me luck!

Project #3-Gift Card Holders

"Jordan" Gift Card Holder

"Catalina" Gift Card Holder

Okay, so this is probably one of my favorite projects that I have come up with for the Holiday Projects 2009, only because you can reuse them for a mini wallet or to hold business cards. I am hoping to make on out of suede or leather and it would be very chic. By changing the fabric, it can be a year round gift or project.  Also, they are super fast to make and don't require much more than some fabric and a little interfacing.
