Quilt Along...

So this little wall hanging, doesn't take a whole lot of materials. I found all mine in my scrap bin.

Here is the material list:
-1 piece solid or print for main background 18" x 18"

-Various scraps or you could just use a couple different fat quarters: in oranges, whites, greens, yellows for the pumpkins (scrap sizes 8" x 5" is the largest piece you would need)

-For the leaves: red. golden, yellow, green fabrics (size 8" x 5" would again be the largest piece needed)

- Brown or green fabric for stems (3" x 4")

-Wonder-Under or Fusible Web (about 3/8")

-Quilting Batting ( 19" x 19")

-Main backing fabric (print or solid) 18" x 9" & 18" x 7 1/2"

-Pick 4 of your favorite scraps from the pumpkins to make the scrappy stripe on the back:
Piece A- 2 3/4" x 3 1/4"
Piece B- 3 3/4"x 3 1/4"
Piece C- 2 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Piece D- 10 1/2" x 3 1/4"

- For Binding a piece of bias tape 74" long

-Coordinating thread (I used red, orange, green, yellow, brown, and white for quilting)

We will start cutting everything out on the 14th so feel free to gather up your supplies- if you have any questions, leave a comment or email me: kzjostudio@yahoo.com

Don't forget to grab the badge at the top.

In other news, this week was my mom's birthday and my husband's is tomorrow. The beginning of my busy season is here ... I love it. Next week, I will be in busy mode working on Xavier's birthday stuff and I have a few other projects I am going to finish up and show you before the quilt-along gets started.
